  1. I just unlocked her from bronze card :) Lucky me.

  2. Just unlocked Barriss two nights ago. Even at **** she is a dream come true… I am still somewhat new to the game so for a while completing GW was a huge task — now I can go pretty much wire to wire with a Jedi team+ GS and run the table (with maybe a suicide squad or two in there.)

there’s a lot to like here!

    5
  3. I really like her, but you have to know where to use her and with who. In arena if you run a dps team she is unuseful (if they hit your dps toons they die) but with a tanky team she is awsome. I like to use her with Han Solo. All my team is maxed in stars, level and equipment and she is useful. 4* value and 5* if you run a tanky counter team: Kylo Rent Fives Old Daka Phasma and Savage
For the new patch I think she is going to be better.
Now I have her in a Jedi Team (not the best actally with sideous and dooku everywhere) and I win all my arena battles. QGJ leader, Anakin, Ashoka, Luminara and Barris, all lvl 73 7* max gear

    4
  4. Current rating is 5 stars at level 69 and not even maxed abilities.

    5
  5. I love Baris. She has been the reason the rest of my tunes survive long enough for the last 5 PvP war wins. Combined with some high damage output toons and a 7 star counselor if the first round is not a catastrophe of just plain bad luck I settle in for a tough drawn out battle that I usually win at level 67-69.

GW she is beyond useful if you kill all high DMG players and settle on a tank to reset everyone else’s specials while healing.

  6. Why is she a light side character? Bitch turned dark when *spoilers* she set Ahsoka up for the fall.

  7. For my money, Barris ‘take it’ Offee is the best player in the game. Yeah, yeah, I know she hits like a mosquito, but this bitch can heal like a fuckin angel- EVEN if someone is suffering from healing immunity. That’s HUMUNGOUS! The only other player I know that can do that is Ewok Elder and his healing isn’t half as powerful as hers. The one exception thus far (I’ve only had her a week or so) is that use her heals while she still has over half of power left. Her healing isn’t strong when she is less than 25%, but I usually roll with at least one other healer ( Luminara Undies in my case), so I can pick up the slack. Also, I love that her speed & physical critical rating seems to be quite high (which I THINK) means her healing ability comes frequently- much more frequently than say, Chewbacca’s special abilities. 5 star without a doubt.

    5
    • Meh, between Rey, QuiGon, and Geonosian, basically two shots from them render healing worthless. She’s solid, but not the best in the game. Perhaps for Galaxy War, but I enjoy fighting the leaderboards with someone with Barriss.

  8. I dont know why people talk shit about her she is still awesome i have her at 6 stars almost 7 and i’m a lvl 70 ftp player. She does wonders in gw and guarantees my place anywhere from 70 to 120 each day. All in all i think she is still 5 / 5 or atleast 4.5 /5

  9. Barriss Offee is one of the ones that I don’t understand why she was given a fairly prominent position in the SWGoH universe. She plays a relatively minor role in the Star Wars universe. As harsh as it may sounds I think her nerf was fairly deserved for that reason. It would be nice if, like many of the other Jedi, she didn’t hit like a buttercup.

    3
    • My 6* Windu and 7* Lumi both hit harder than my 7* Sidius. 4* Qui Gon and 4* Obi Wan do a little less damage, except for Qui Gon’s specials, with the Harmonious Assault hitting harder than any other attack if you count the boosted bonus hit from the other ally.

Jedi are fairly weak by themselves, such as in a group of Sith, Droids, etc… but have great synergy together. You just have to be smart enough to know how to use them. True, Barriss hits like a cupcake, but that’s because she’s unmatched as a support character, with the best heal ability, a great leader ability, and a very good debuff cleaning passive ability. I think the only benefit of her attack is the chance she heals her team for another 8% of her max health.

My only issue with Barriss is she’s a bit hard to get, especially early in the game and even later if you’re F2P and run mostly light side characters.

      4
      • I have been using her as my leader – with her healing on hits (as soft as they are) she is invaluable to my PvP and GW teams

        4
      • exactly thats what i be sayin people have to be smart enough to use the jedis, my jedis hit hard, my first 2 or 3 jedis take out my biggest threat unless its sidious he can dodge so it might take 4 or 5 but either way hes gone before the enem can prevent it n yes tell me bout it, im a f2p player, its hard as hell tryna getthese characters it takes so dam long wit that 80 shard bs is what i mean

  10. I can’t understand why most people put this character down. I love her. She’s an excellent leader. The HP buff alone allows my party to survive the dreaded droid/poggle/poe parties in PvP (which I end up obliterating in my next 2 turns with my Jedi/Sith). As for the healing under immunity, perfectly fair because it’s the equalizing trait that doesn’t get blocked. Technically that’s NOT a heal. The heal itself gets blocked but who cares? It could mean the difference of keeping an extra character in the battle or not. :)

    5
  11. Ok could someone explain to me how exactly does her dispel work? At the start of her turn? Whether she heals a jedi? On the start of the jedis turn? When she uses a skill?

    0
  12. only reason her rank is so high is because she can heal the party even the party is under Healing Immunity. other then that she is just a tough tank. also cooldown time so long not ecceptable. she does small heal when she hits but not so much.
she can only be a insurance not a main healer.
i love to battle a team with her as leader, much easier then Luminara or Sid.

    4
    • She’s perfect for GW as leader though. With lumi jc qgj and Sid. That’s how I’m running GW. Obviously when there’s a dooku then I don’t use all the Jedi but otherwise it works well. And I prefer GW to PvP personally

      5
  13. Her initial HP is 586 instead of 566 as stated

  14. Summary: Best healer of the game, at the cost of poor damage output.

    Pros:
    – Definitely the best healer of the game. The only who can heal even toons which are debuffed with healing immunity. Also, it party heals even when attacking
    – Has immense health, the best in the game, so it’s “unkillable” in the first turn. Also it has solid stats on armor, which makes it even more “tanky”
    – Leader ability provides a very welcomed health bonus (which can means a glass canon lasting more than 1 turn), plus a nice heal every turn based on her max health (did I say how huge health she has?)
    – Shines in a Jedi team, specially with her party debuff dispel
    – Great survivability on GW

    Cons:
    – Damage output is bad. In example, while most of my toons on her level, stars and gears will consistently make 2.5K+ damage, she usually will barely make more than 1K
    – Because of her low damage output, she’s not good on PvP
    – Farming for shards is quite difficult and requires a lot of time

    4
  15. How’s Bariss’ availability rating is 65 ? To get to honorable game 6A and dark side 8A and win them 3* (for sim use) one needs to be close to lvl 70. Most of guys here are not there.
From my experience, it’s easier to farm Ackbar, Kylo Ren, Dooku, Ventress and other characters you gave lower ranking in availability.

Otherwise, great job on rankings and stats guide. Very very very helpful.
P.S.: as commented, good to see you took notice of the rise of Poe in arena.

  16. Update Force Healer please because Force Healer LVL 6 is Cooldown – 1 not Heal + 2.5%

    5
  17. ok, ive been fascinated by the ratings so far. i feel like most are comming from people that dont real train (or understand) her.
In a jedi team; 5 stars. she is the only free-to-play toon i would have in every jedi formation. she IS a fountain of health. she got a bit over-nerfed, but it still remains, that HP equalization makes her heal exponentially more life-saving, and thus game-changing, than any other healer. Yet, i still see people referring to her “weak heal”. Furthermore, her 55% debuff removal, is epic. Of course her DPS is garbage. She is the purest healer in-game, and she is un-killable in first round (unlike every other healer).
NON-jedi team; 3 stars, at most. It is still a good heal, but she has nothing else at all. Ultimatly this game is about having multiple teams, for multiple modes; so ill give her the credit she deserves in her optimized role.
If you choose to ignore barriss in your farming, you are in for quick exits from the galactic war each day. Good plan, if you wish to save time.

    0
    • Her and ima-gun di. even if you are cashing for the likes of Jin, or obi-wan…are alpha-jedi.

      5
    • Barriss is not farmable until fairly late in the game, at which point you should presumably have a good GW strategy already in place to clear every day. She is certainly extremely useful in that mode, on par with Luminara, but she’s not necessary if you want to prioritize other character in Cantina battles.
In Arena, right now her heal does not compensate for the lack of damage / other utility. It’s pointless to be able to heal someone through immunity, when in the current meta characters will get one/two shot before it rolls around to her turn. Likewise, the small heal every turn and debuff removal is useless when the opposing team’s glass cannons are dropping your members like flies. Barriss shines in extended fights of attrition, which is not where the Arena meta is at right now.

Granted, I conceded that each person plays the game their own way, and for someone not concerned too much about arena rankings she’s great to have. I would give her a solid 4*, but qualify that as 5* in GW and LS battles, and 2* in Arena.

      4
  18. Unfortunately, the game has been secretly updated again (no change log in game) and Barriss has been reduced to almost useless. She used to be able to equalise health and bypass any healing immunity debuffs on your team (useful when up against Sidious, for example). However, her only saving grace has now been removed. Her damage is pathetic and her health recovery is now so weak after multiple updates that she’s no longer worth having in a team.

The changes to this game are highly irritating. You spend days upgrading a character, only to find the developers have destroyed that character’s worth. Plus, I’ve just noticed they’be changed Galactic War. Where once retreating meant you could add in another character of yours once one was defeated, now it forces you to restart the whole battle. Talk about changing the rules and goal posts.

    1
    • Just tested her on 4 separate battles vs healing rebuff after you commented

Her equalizing oh health still works thru sid’s debuff (no additional life)

As well it seems she can go to 17.5% health buff as I’m lvl 4 force healer and at 10% with level 5,6,7 each adding extra 2.5% according to this site

So it seems she got a slight buff vs a few days ago

  19. Cristian Chappuzeau

I can’t finish understanding her healing.

“Force Healer – All allies have their current Health percentages equalized. Then, each ally recovers 15% of their Max Health.”

Their HP are equalized…ok…equalized to what? An average of all their current %? The % of the current highest party member? Or what?

    0
    • ok. so if your whole living team has 80% of its total HPs; Barriss will distribute it evenly among each member. (Still 80% total, but now each member is at 80%). Once this happens, each member then heals for 15% of thier life. I.e. if everyone was evenly damaged, you healed only 15% (thus any other healer would have done more). IF, however, you had one member (or even 2) missing say 10,000 HPs each, while the rest are at 100%….you just got a lot more heal than any other healer could give you. I hope that answered your question.

      0
    • Thanks! I also had this question. 😀

      0
  20. I’m trying to decide between upgrading Force Healer or Invigorating Strike. Both are at lvl 2 right now. Invigorating Strike will be 30% chance to heal team for 3% her max health, up from a 15% chance which hardly ever procs. Force Heal will be equalize team health then heal 10% of each characters max health to them, up from 7.5% heal. My question is basically, does anyone have her with a 30%-45% chance of healing for invigorating strike and if so does it proc often?

    0
    • I have the strike heal and it really does hit about a 1/3 of the time. It’s great when a few of your glass cannons are near death.

      0
  21. Barriss could potentially be a very strong character. The problem with her is that she does practically no damage at all and her healing ability isn’t strong enough to outweigh her lack of offense. In addition, she is difficult to farm. Luminara is a much better option because she has a strong heal as well as good offense.

Invigorating Strike: this does hardly any damage at all which means she often can’t really finish off enemies that have minimal HP left. The heal this can give is really good but the problem is that it doesn’t proc enough. I feel like this ability would be much better if it either did 1.5x as much damage or proced every time (with perhaps a smaller heal as this may be too strong).

Force Healer: the strength in this ability is the fact that it can heal allies that have healing immunity. The heal amount got nerfed but is still good.

No One Left Behind: Doesn’t feel strong enough unless most of your allies are Jedis.

Swift Recovery: Only works for Jedis so is only good if you have a few of them in your team. This may actually be pretty good if it worked on all allies but that isn’t the case unfortunately. Just a wasted ability unless your have some Jedis in your team.

Barriss is likely only viable in a team containing Jedis as otherwise her healing ability just isn’t strong enough to make up for her lack of offense. It’s a shame because I like her abilities but they need tweaking for her to be worth using over other characters.

    3
    • I’m 3rd place in Squad Arena and use her and she is a mini tank and combined with a Jedi Consuler, a Darth Maul, Chewbacca, and Mace I seem to be doing pretty good. Basically keep healing Darth Maul and he gets more powerful as more enemies are defeated. As long as I can keep Mace and Maul alive I do a pretty solid job of taking ppl out. Don’t underestimate Her healing abilities for sure!

      0
  22. Disappointing. I bought her pre-nerf and loved her. 500 crystals was not enough to repay for the nerf to her considering she was the only reason to buy that card. Her only use now is in GW where she can keep a passive heal on hero’s. Outside of that she’s not a character I use anymore.

    2
    • Completely agree. I actually won her in a Bronzium pack at 4 stars, so was lucky initially. However, as you say, since the update she has become largely useless and underwhelming. Seems particularly galling when they have kept Dooku ridiculously overpowered (attacking four or five times in a row, etc) and only refunded those who paid a pitiful 500 crystals.

      2
  23. She is not as great as some people think. She is a “win more” character. So when you are winning, she will help you stay ahead. But the lower your party gets on health, the worse her heal is (to the point of being almost pointless when near dead) And her damage is likely the lowest in the game.

    0
  24. How exactly does the dispel work? Is it at the time the debuff is applied? Is it at the start of Barriss’s turn? Is it during the heal? It really doesn’t say in the description.

    0
    • An answer to this would be much appreciated.

I’m still torn between her and lumi as leaders. + max health vs evasions seems to be an equal trade on paper, but I am not seeing the evasion pay off that much.

      5
      • I like Lumi over Barris. I like the evasion more than the health, as her and Obi also add evasion to themselves so they’re hard to hit and good support – I’d rather my support be evading than have more health. My Obi just evaded 5 attacks in a row in my last arena match.

Also, I like Lumi’s balance of healing, evasion, ability block, and a decent attack. Her health is average to low end, but that’s a fair trade off. She’s also a lot easier to rank up (and unlock).

        3
  25. Both luminara and barriss offee have situations where they excel at.

Barriss is probably better when enemies focus fire on a single toon(most preferably tanks because of the equalization) but is less effective against heavy aoe team compositions where the equalization is pretty useless.

On the other hand, luminara is excellent at handling aoe-damage team compositions because of her larger heal, but is less effective in keeping a toon out of the danger zone when the toon is being focussed fired upon.

    0
  26. She’s nerfed, yes, but she’s still the only one who can reliably do “target” heal, and still is very useful, proving that the nerf was valid.

    0
  27. Updating my review from after the nerf:

    Positives:
-Still the only healer that’s useful versus healing debuffs due to her equalization mechanic
-Massive health pool renders her a improbable first focus target
-Passive healing is still strong for jedi teammates

    Negatives:
-Now provides little active healing to the group
-Health equalizations heal component being cut in half makes compositions very susceptible to AoE Dmg
    -Provides very little damage
-Turn meter is a bit slow

Overall: No longer an OP character. Still descent, but isn’t the go to healer for any composition anymore. Still great for all jedi compositions, specifically if you want a composition to clear through the Glactic War scenario. However, I’ll be replacing her on from my Squad Arena team relatively soon.

    Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

    4
  28. Did she get nerfed? Before it seemed like the heal was at 20% and now it is at 12.5 after I leveled it up again.

I’m disgusted if you nerfed her and left Dooku alone.

    4
  29. Positives: Best pure healer in the game, bar none. Has so much health it really doesn’t even make sense. If you don’t turn on autoturn you’d spend 2 mins killing just her with certain lower damage compositions. Her leader skill(Lvl4+) is an easy ride to the end of the Galactic War board with absolutely no worries. You can basically leave it on auto-pilot till you get to the last 3-4 fights.

Negatives: Like all healers she can be rendered mostly useless with a good heal debuff. She’s a Jedi, and theirs plenty of opponents with specialties against this type. This makes her susceptible to ability lockout.

Bottom-line: A very will designed character that fills her role a little too well when you compare her to the other healers. Her health should be toned down by at least 1500 at max lvl. For now, use her in any composition that you want to use a healer.

    5
    • Her HP equalizer ignores healing immunities, so if one of your teammate is damaged badly and suffers from healing block you can just pop the heal and he will be fine.

Ability blocks also doesn’t work on her since she still gives passive heal and can heal with basic attacks

Her bizarre HP pool also makes her impossible to die first.

She doesn’t really have negative side effects, besides being a support, but if someone is considering a healer for a position than she is the most ultimate OP character for the spot.

      0
  30. love the massive heal. however, wondering if anyone else has this issue, i can’t upgrade the leader skill past level 3. i have Bariss at lvl 37, have all the materials, but the upgrade button is greyed out. is there a level requirement that isn’t in the game?
