  1. Talia’s special attack and heal are good, but she is easily killed (just like Darth Maul).

    3
  2. Wish she had more health. I run a nightsisters team with the jedi councellor rather than the acolyte. Talia is usually the first one to die even at 6* gear 8. Her heal though, is very powerful. For tougher opponents, her self heal gets her killed for the greater good.

She’s not great… she’s ok… easy to star, easy to gear up.

    3
  3. Here is the real hard truth about Talia.
Decent damage for a healer. However you must be alive to hit and poor Talia gets pounded like a drunkard on prom night. I had to double check to see if she was taunting.
I classify her as a support healer.
Double or triple her with other healers and she will survive and be a benefit.

    2
    • Talia is basically a bad mix between Old Daka (i consider daka a straight-up upgrade to her) and healers like Luminara. She hurts harself, then gives a decent heal and some turn meter.

      1
  4. Often overlooked fact about Talia: every other healer in the game heals for a percentage of the [the healer]’s max health. Talia heals for a percentage of [character being healed]’s max health. If you run high-health toons like RG, Fives, or Savage, that fact can make her a significantly better healer than squishy folks like JC or Daka. Lumi’s over-time healing also works off the target’s health, but if you need to make sure your Royal Guard stays standing, that over-time healing may not be quick enough to help.

    For comparison:
    a maxed JC’s heal: 5824 hp healed
    a maxed Luminara’s heal (not counting over-time): 5804 hp
    a maxed Daka’s heal: 5088 hp
Talia’s heal, on a maxed Royal Guard: 10719 hp. Talia doesn’t even have to be maxed, just get her heal to level 6.

Talia’s also great with Phasma lead; the bonus attacks will keep her health up, and turn meter from Victory March can help make up for how slow she is.

Bonus fun fact: if using Talia’s heal ability is what causes her to drop below 50% health, it’ll still trigger RG’s passive taunt.

    • Talia with RG is a really comfortable combo for me. In my A-Team Talia keeps RG bulky with health, Luminara does emergency recovery, and Ahsoka supplements healings so that all characters are in the green enough so that most hits procs RG’s taunt. I love the Talia/RG combo. It has survivability written all over it.

The self damaging is a bummer, but that’s the fun of a balanced character!

  5. This toon used to be a lot more playable in the beginning.

She had better survival options before, when the game AI was a bit more target-randomy and a wounded character might live long enough.

But now, when a squishy toon bleeds, all the sharks go all over her. Old Daka is on the field? All go for her eyes! And this is what renders poor Talia a lot less useful than she ought to be.

The moment she heals the team (and losses some of her own life) the whole enemy squad throw themselves over her, her, and only her. And she cannot heal herself using her basic attack. She simply does not have time. Drop dead, gorgeous.

And that brings us to the real problem… Considering she’s one of the FEW (if any) healers of the Dark Side… How much of a good move could you call this “improvement” that has now rendered her almost useless?

Please, don’t start me on “you could pair her with”… Nope: A healer is supposed to be a good team addition in ALL, or ALMOST ALL cases. Having to design your squad so she can be half-even-useful is anything but productive.

Please un-nerf this girl, or bring in a real healer to the Dark Side, guys :-p

  6. I don’t know why everyone is complaining about her. I feel like Talia is one of the most underrated characters, after Poggle the Lesser. I have her at 7 stars and she’s worked wonders for me. With her main attack at level 7 she heals for every bit of damage she deals-which is VERY helpful. I’ve never had a problem with her heal causing her to lose health, my only problem with her heal is that it takes too long to get ready! She’s definetely a solid character and one that I use in every situation possible.

    5
  7. I have a Nightsister build and I don’t use Talia. With a core of Asajj, Daka, and Initiate, her opportunity cost is too high. When you can only pick two others, like Luminara, Sid, Dooku, Phasma, even Jedi Consular, who picks Talia? Her power rating is over-rated, and her sacrificial heal is a liability for 3-starring dark side battles.

Sure, she’s easy to star up and she’s one of very few dark side healers, but I’d save my shards, droids and credits and invest in someone else.

    3
  8. I use her regularly in pvp with Assaj as leader, Old Daka, Sid and either a 3 star Count Dooku or Luminara at 7 star depending on the opponent. Seems to work pretty well so far.

  9. While I think it is BULLSHIT that a healer heals at the expense of their own health, she can gain a substantial amount of it back by using her normal attack (she does NOT gain health back by using Harrowing Assault-although she may at higher levels-I’m only level 3). Overall I would give her 3 out of 5 stars. She’s not a part of my A-Team, because I’ve found that she’s often targeted by other players in my expense. Bottom line, I think she is great for padawans (she was one of my first characters- I don’t know if that was luck or other people have had similar ‘luck’), but I wouldn’t actively seek her out. I would go after Queen Daka myself with shards, but I don’t even have her yet so that is probably heavily biased. I do know that Daka can not only heal (whether it is better than Talia’s or not, I don’t know), but she can bring players back to life like Ewok Elder which I think is totally BAD ASS and the main reason why I love the Ewok Elder so much.

  10. Use her with phasma lead and she hardly losses health!those bonus attacks add up!

  11. Her new shit dont work. Her basic is supposed to heal her 70% of the dmg done but only heal her ~30%.

    1
  12. Summary: Although hurting herself when healing, the turn meter gains make her an interesting toon. Shines when in Nightsister synergy.

    Pros:
    – Her basic attack self-heal her for a nice percentage of that damage
    – Her party heal provides an interesting turn meter gains for her allies, so it can be great push for a killing blow on critical moments
    – Her special attack provides DOT for 3 turns, and has a high chance to be inflicted upon due to her high potency and above average armor penetration
    – Above par shard farming

    Cons:
    – Her basic damage has bellow average damage (although not as horrible as Barriss or Royal Guard for example)
    – Her party heal has a long cooldown and also damages herself. This can make you often think about a self-sacrifice for the greater good…
    – She’s a bit slow, specially for PvP (this is mitigated if Asajj Ventress is leader)

    Rating:
    3.5* when without synergies
    4* with synergies

  13. FYI here Seems to be some issues here with her capabilities, I am at level 4 and she already has same or better capabilities than listed above:
level 4 draining strike – Deal damage and recover 70%, it says 75% at level 5
water of life listed above is level 5
harrowing assault listed is level 4
    leader ability is level 5,

I am farming Talia steadily and should have a 6* in a few days. I have good luck with her combined with Chewy, Daka, Sid, and Lumi or JC in GW. I am going to start using her heal more now that I realize she add turn meter with the heal. This may be a good combination with Resistance trooper AOA turn meter down. I have completed 8 of them at level 57 playing for free and the Talia/chewy/Sid make a huge difference.

    0
    • Rather I mean pairing her with Clone Sgt may be good for turn meter down.

      5
    • Was going to say the same! At lvl 3, her basic is “recover 70% of the damage dealt”.

If that’s after update and it’s true, thats a major boost for nightsister teams! It may even make a tactic of running a tank or tankier attacker with 4 healers in GW a very viable option! Something like Barris (Leader), Lumi, JC, Talia and Kylo Ren/Kit Fisto or Chewie/Poe. No Old Daka, as hate her long animation, lol. Won’t try myself, as a) don’t have Barriss, and b) can’t stand long drawn out battles, prefer my high crit team.
P.S.: if her basic is indeed as it reads in game, she’s 5/5

      5
      • Damage from her basic is 4th lowest of all characters, so imagine self-heal rate. She’s not PvP char just yet, but Dark Side only has 2 healers so you can’t avoid gearing her up to finish DS battles. Note to EA: Dark side needs someone like Barriss and Lumi, hopefully a Sith but a Empire medic droid or First Order Clone would work too.

    • Draining strike at level 4 says 70% heal but it actuality heals 35% for me.

  14. nice character and good synergy with poe. taunt and heal on first turn ( +25% turn meter and healing first-turn aoe )

    5
  15. Agree with the above… Talia is the workhorse of my Dark Side team. Her group heal is a lifesaver, and I own no other dark healers. she does a ,tittle bit of everything, like Draymond Green on the Golden State Warriors.

    4
  16. I really like Talia, her heal, despite hurting her, is a really good buff for the team with the added 25% turn meter. Can use a taunt unit to let her heal back with regular attacks for a couple rounds.

    5
  17. With stealth abilities? lol wrong description, that’s for Acolyte.

    Talia is damage over time.

    5
  18. The only starter character I’m still using at L45. Good group and self heal. Solid damage, especially with her special attack.

    4
  19. I really like her but the game won’t let me use her during the main missions.I have an imperial guard on there so I know it lets me use darkside characters but it just won’t let me use her.I can only use her in arena

    5
  20. I really enjoy using Talia; she is powerful and has useful abilities. Her Water of Life heal is arguably the best heal you’ll get on the Dark Side, although it does decrease her hit points, so there are times when it’s not beneficial to use. Harrowing Assault is a high-damage maneuver, and her main attack heals her for a small amount, which is useful after she’s used Water of Life.
